Dr. Eric Wegryn - Teaching

Dr. Eric Wegryn is an instructor of astronomy and physics in the Bay Area. He teaches at Ohlone College, and has also taught at West Valley College, Mission College, and Foothill College.

Dr. Wegryn has developed much of the curriculum for his Astronomy Lab course, including observing projects and activities for predicting viewing times for the planets. Check out a sample syllabus and lunar observation exercise.

His lectures are free-flowing, enlivened by jokes, historical anecdotes, and brain teasers. He loves to help people understand science, not just the dry facts, but the often astounding process of discovery.
