Meteor Crater

As part of our Evolution of Planetary Surfaces course (PtyS 554) led by Professor Jay Melosh, we made two field excursions. The second was to Meteor Crater in Northern Arizona in April 1995. We examined this large impact crater, as well as various volcanic features, such as Sunset Crater cinder cone, and Government Cave lava tube.
